Congressman Rob Wittman of Virginia's First District has announced that his office has secured over $4 million in federal casework funds for constituents during the 118th Congress, which began in May 2023.
These funds were obtained by advocating for residents facing delays and issues with federal agencies, programs, or benefits. The office deals with a range of issues including Social Security, Medicare benefits, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs claims, and IRS tax refunds.
“I am committed to delivering real results for the people of Virginia’s First District, including returning federal funds to the people of Virginia’s First District,” stated Congressman Wittman. He encouraged constituents needing assistance with VA claims, passport renewals, or Social Security inquiries to reach out to his team. “I am proud of the quality constituent services my office provided during the 118th Congress, and I remain committed to continuing our top-tier constituent services in the 119th Congress.”
During this period, Wittman's office closed over 3,700 cases and responded to nearly 130,000 inquiries from district residents.
Constituents seeking help with federal agency inquiries can contact Congressman Wittman's casework team through his offices in Washington D.C., Glen Allen, or Yorktown.
