Congressman Rob Wittman's office has announced the successful acquisition of over $3.6 million in federal casework funds for residents of Virginia's First District since May 2023. These funds were secured by addressing issues faced by constituents, including delays and backlogs with federal agencies, programs, or benefits.

The office assists with a variety of concerns such as Social Security, Medicare benefits, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs claims, and IRS tax refunds. Congressman Wittman emphasized his commitment to providing effective constituent services: "I am committed to delivering real results for the people of Virginia’s First District... Whether you need assistance with a VA claim, renewing your passport, or checking on your Social Security benefits, please do not hesitate to contact my team."

Since the start of the 118th Congress, Wittman's office has resolved over 4,000 cases for local residents. Testimonials from constituents highlight the impact of this support. Ray from Poquoson expressed gratitude for swift resolution regarding USCIS issues: "Your assistance could not have been faster or more efficient." Marie from Williamsburg shared her relief after an SSA enrollment error was corrected with help from Wittman's staff member Ms. Gale: "She continued to stay in contact to keep me abreast of her progress with SSA."

Tallie from Yorktown appreciated the support in pursuing an Air Force officer position: "Looks like I'll be going before the review board after all!"

Residents seeking help with federal agency inquiries can reach out to Congressman Wittman's casework team via phone at various offices in Washington D.C., Glen Allen, Yorktown, and Tappahannock.
