Virginia Department of Correction recently issued the following announcement.
Pilot Facilities
Beginning September 1, 2021, the following facilities will reopen for visitation: St. Brides Correctional Center, Greensville Correctional Center, Caroline Correctional Unit, Buckingham Correctional Center, Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women, Nottoway Work Center, Green Rock Correctional Center, Keen Mountain Correctional Center, and Patrick Henry Correctional Unit.
COVID-19 Antigen Testing Requirement
You must submit to a self-administered COVID-19 antigen test on the day of your scheduled visit. A negative test result is required to enter a facility.
