Introduction to Turkey Hunting Online Seminar Part 2

Join DWR for part two of a two-part virtual seminar series on turkey hunting with Kyle Ott! Kyle will share the wealth of knowledge he has gained obsessively hunting and learning about wild turkey since his childhood. Kyle is pursuing the US Super Slam and has hunted turkeys in 34 states as a member of the Mossy Oak Pro Staff.
Over the course of two 90 minute seminars, Kyle will cover biological, tactical, and strategic content intended to help new and current hunters locate and interact with more wild turkeys in Virginia. These seminars are perfect for someone who is planning to hunt turkey for the first time and anyone who wants to improve their chances of a successful harvest.
*Registration for part 1 is separate from part 2. You must register for each separately to attend both seminars.

– Pre-season scouting
– Basic hunting strategies (fly down, mid-day, fly up)
– Public turkey hunting opportunities in Virginia
– Making the most of your Paid Time Off (PTO) during turkey season
– Utilizing tools and resources to determine optimal days afield
– Creative strategies that allow a person fulfill personal/professional/familial obligations while optimizing time in the field
– Wild turkey decline in the United States, our roles as stewards, trapping and property management
