Today, Congressman Rob Wittman announced the expansion of mobile office hours across Virginia's First District. This initiative will now include locations in Tappahannock, Williamsburg, and Warsaw. These additions complement the existing mobile office hours in Colonial Beach, Kilmarnock, and Midlothian.

"I am always looking for innovative, cost effective, and efficient ways to reach the constituents of the First District," said Congressman Wittman. "One such way is expanding the number of locations where we offer mobile office hours. If you are in need of assistance but are unable to travel to one of my district offices, I encourage you to meet with a member of my staff at one of our mobile office hours at a location closest to you."

The new schedule begins on January 8, 2025. Mobile office hours will be held at Essex Public Library in Tappahannock on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. Williamsburg Library will host them on the second Thursday of each month starting January 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon. Old Circuit Court in Warsaw will have these sessions on the first and third Wednesday of each month beginning January 15, 2025.

Current locations include Cooper Branch Library in Colonial Beach on the first Monday of every month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Lancaster Community Library in Kilmarnock on the second Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon, and American Legion Post 186 in Midlothian on the last Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Residents needing assistance with VA claims, passport renewals or Social Security benefits can contact Congressman Wittman's office by calling (804) 401-4120 or visiting wittman.house.gov.
