County Of Henrico issued the following announcement on Dec. 23
Today we remember Henrico County Police Officer Welford Green. He was the department's third officer to be killed in the line of duty. Officer Green died on December 22, 1948. We honor the life, the service and the ultimate sacrifice Officer Green gave to this community.
