County Of Henrico issued the following announcement on March 10

Yahley Mill Road will be closed between Union Grove and Longbridge roads, beginning Monday, March 14, while crews improve Sweeney Creek to reduce erosion.

The closure will be in effect 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday for the duration of the project, which is expected to last about two weeks. The portion of Yahley Mill will be open to traffic in the evenings and overnight.

A detour will direct motorists to use Bradbury Drive as an alternate route between Darbytown and Longbridge roads.
