WEDNESDAY: Spanberger to Host Telephone Town Hall Focused on Issues Facing Virginia Families, Seniors, & Economy

On Wednesday, January 25, U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger will host another open, public telephone town hall focused on the issues facing Virginia’s families, seniors, and businesses. The event will also be livestreamed on Spanberger’s website and congressional Facebook page.

During the event, Spanberger will answer questions directly from Virginians about her work on behalf of Virginia’s Seventh District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Additionally, she will give an update on a range of issues impacting the Commonwealth’s communities and overall economy — including her recently signed-into-law legislation to combat rising rates of overdose in Virginia and her bipartisan legislation to crack down on fentanyl coming through ports of entry along America’s southern border.

“I’m focused on getting things done for the Virginians I represent — and every conversation with our neighbors better informs my work on their behalf,” said Spanberger. “Wednesday’s event will be an opportunity to discuss concerns in the community, answer additional questions about the issues that matter most to our neighbors, and hear directly from Seventh District families, businesses, and seniors. These conversations allow me to better bring Virginians’ voices to Congress, and I hope many of our neighbors will join us.”
