On behalf of the Project Team, we want to let you know that the 2022 VATSP Photo Contest has ended. As a result, the Project Team received more than 150 photos of aircraft and facilities at Virginia airports! A big thank you to everyone who submitted photos, and congratulations to Richard Lewis, the winner of our gift card!
A top priority of both the Project Team and the Department of Aviation since the beginning of this project has been to tell the story of Virginia through its airports. We have focused on developing a document that is a true reflection of the aviation system and represents the users of Virginia’s airports. These photos are one piece to ensuring we can make that happen.
We realize that many users may not have had the opportunity to take and submit photos, so we have decided to host another round of the photo contest, with another gift card being rewarded. In addition to photos, we encourage submissions of stories or interesting facts about the Virginia system or specific airports. Please send these to Courtney Beard at Courtney.beard@meadhunt.com.
