Yesterday, two of Elephant's employee resource groups, Parents of the Herd and ROSIE, partnered to welcome Kate Oppe, disability rights advocate and owner of Be the Change Virginia Advocates, LLC . Kate held an hour long session discussing how to support and advocate for your child within the school system, explaining the IEP process, and providing resources and tips on accessing community supports and services. We're grateful to Kate for her time and expertise and for joining us in supporting the working parents of the Herd. Providing access to knowledge and resources to our employees is a main focus of all of the ERGs at Elephant.
