The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Abigail Spanberger, Spanberger for Congress, refunded $1,000 to Gabor Herman on Sept. 7, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Spanberger for Congress has refunded $6,450 total since April 1.
