County of Surry issued the following announcement on Nov. 8
“Surry County has partnered with RURALBAND in the creation of the Ruralband Education Center. The Ruralband Education Center is located in the Surry County Parks and Recreation Community Center and is staffed Tuesday – Thursday (dates may vary) from 12pm-5pm (last appointment time is 4 p.m.) If members are interested in booking an appointment, they can visit Ruralband’s website at https://ruralband.coop/ruralband-education-center-sign. Members who book an appointment are able to speak to a RURALBAND representative 1-1 and can sign up for service, complete an application, check availability, and determine which package that best suits their needs."
