Reynolds Hosts Dr. Arthur Levine

As a flagship event for its 50th Anniversary, Reynolds welcomed author and scholar Dr. Arthur Levine on March 21, 2023, at the Parham Road Campus. Dr. Levine delivered a talk, “The World is Rapidly Changing: Can Higher Ed Adapt,” and led an engaging discussion on the evolution of higher education and the challenges we face today.

Q&A was moderated by Mr. Ken Ampy, Chief Executive Officer, Astyra Corporation and Chair, State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.

Arthur Levine is a Distinguished Scholar of Higher Education at New York University. He is also President Emeritus of Teachers College, Columbia University, and President Emeritus of the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation (now Institute on Citizens and Scholars). Levine has authored 13 books, including The Great Upheaval: Higher Education’s Past, Present, and Uncertain Future (9/21), and published scores of articles in venues such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Politico, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Education Week, and Inside Higher Education.
