Residential and business property owners in Henrico County would receive a tax credit

Residential and business property owners in Henrico County would receive a tax credit equal to 2 cents per $100 of assessed value in 2023, under a proposal outlined Feb. 14 by the Board of Supervisors and other officials.

Noting the Valentine’s Day announcement by the LOVE sculpture at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, County Manager John Vithoulkas said the proposal is one that “further demonstrates that Henrico is a county with a heart and which shows that this Board of Supervisors recognizes the economic challenges our homeowners, families and taxpayers are facing each day.”
