Rep. Rob Wittman, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 1st District since 2007, recently shared a series of updates and engagements via social media. Wittman, who succeeded Jo Ann Davis in Congress and previously served in the Virginia House of Delegates and Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors, has been active in promoting environmental conservation and engaging with his constituents.

On June 4, 2025, Rep. Wittman emphasized the importance of ocean conservation by announcing that he had received the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation’s Leadership Award for his efforts to conserve coastal and marine environments. He stated, “Protecting our oceans is essential to the health of our planet and future generations.”

The following day, on June 5, 2025, Wittman invited his followers to tune into a live session as he joined a radio show hosted by @jfradioshow. He tweeted: “I just joined @jfradioshow live — tune in!”

Later on June 5th, Wittman expressed his appreciation for engaging with residents across Virginia’s First District. He highlighted a recent meeting with the Western Henrico Rotary where he discussed various issues including legislative updates and Chesapeake Bay conservation efforts. His message read: “I always value the opportunity to connect with folks across Virginia’s First District and have conversations about the issues that matter most.”

Rob Wittman’s dedication to both local engagement and environmental advocacy remains evident through these activities.
