Rep. Rob Wittman, who represents Virginia’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently posted updates on social media regarding upcoming community events and constituent services.

On August 19, 2025, Wittman invited residents to participate in a local employment event, stating: “Don’t forget to join us next week at the Job Fair my office is hosting in Henrico! Stop by the Henrico County Public Schools Adult Education Complex on Tuesday, August 26th, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to meet with local employers. To register, please visit: https://t.co/eFvPsD62am”

Later that day, he addressed constituent support services through his district offices and mobile outreach efforts. Wittman wrote on August 19, 2025: “Do you need help with checking on Social Security benefits, renewing a passport, or processing a VA claim? My district offices in Glen Allen and Yorktown are open every day, but my team is also hosting mobile office hours in Warsaw tomorrow to assist constituents with casework. https://t.co/VT2IAxvP20”

On August 20, 2025, Wittman shared his experience visiting a local manufacturing facility. He posted: “I enjoyed visiting this August at the Ball Corporation Manufacturing facility in Williamsburg. Ball Corporation is a leading innovator of sustainable aluminum packaging for beverages. Fun fact: The Williamsburg manufacturing facility produces over 2 billion beverage cans each https://t.co/U1WM0E3uBt”

Wittman has served as the U.S. Representative for Virginia’s 1st District since replacing Jo Ann Davis in 2007 and previously held positions in the Virginia House of Delegates and Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors from 2006 to 2007. Born in Washington, D.C., in 1959 and currently residing in Montross, Wittman graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981.
