This year’s Oyster Fest saw increased attendance compared to the previous year, according to event organizers. The gathering featured several prominent Virginia officials, including John Reid, candidate for Lieutenant Governor; Attorney General Jason Miyares; and Governor Glenn Youngkin. Each of these guests addressed attendees about the significance of the upcoming election.

Rooz Dadabhoy served as emcee for the event, which was held at Dover Hall. Organizers expressed appreciation for the Dover Hall staff and team for their efforts in managing the festival.

During the event, there was a health concern involving Dick Wright. However, it was later reported that he is recovering and feeling better.

“Thank you to Rooz Dadabhoy for keeping the energy up as our emcee, and to the incredible Dover Hall team and staff for making everything run so smoothly,” said one of the organizers.

Early voting is set to begin tomorrow, with participants encouraged to take part in the electoral process.
