Crews just installed more than 2,000 solar panels on the roof of Highland Springs High School. The system is designed to provide approximately 35% of the school’s electricity needs. Over the next 25 years, the project is anticipated to save Henrico $420,000.

This summer, rooftop solar systems will also be installed on Tucker High School and the new Holladay Elementary School addition.
