0Comments

Holladay Elementary School is harnessing the power of the sun.

This 219-kiloWatt rooftop solar system is projected to provide approximately 33% of the school’s electricity needs. Sun Tribe Solar installed and will maintain the system at no cost to the county. It will sell the solar electricity back to Henrico County Public Schools at a reduced rate compared to grid electricity. Over the next 25 years, the project is estimated to save taxpayers more than $137,000.
