Henrico Virtual Academy, the only virtual K-12 school operated by Henrico County Public Schools, is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic year. The application window will remain open until January 30.
The academy provides a virtual education that allows students flexibility and a personalized learning environment. Most classes are attended in real time online, and students have opportunities to participate in various in-person activities throughout the year, including field trips. In addition to their virtual studies, students can join sports teams and other Virginia High School League (VHSL)-approved activities through their home schools.
Applicants may be current students within Henrico County Public Schools or residents of Henrico who attend school elsewhere. There are no additional prerequisites or requirements for applying.
