Henrico County Public Schools will hold its next monthly job fair on Wednesday, February 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parham Road offices located at 1910 E. Parham Road in Henrico, Virginia. The event offers job seekers an opportunity to meet with representatives from various departments and learn about working with students and families in the school division.
The district has been recognized as one of Virginia’s top employers for three consecutive years. Employees have seen salary increases, access to professional learning opportunities, and fulfilling roles supporting learners throughout Henrico County. According to the district, “With the addition of this year’s 6% raise for all HCPS employees, the division’s teacher salaries have increased by 54% over the past decade. The increase, which includes a step increase and wage adjustment, was the largest across-the-board school employee raise in the region.”
The division also highlights its Career Ladder program: “The school division’s one-of-a-kind Career Ladder program helps employees develop professionally, earn credentials and increase their pay without leaving their current role.” Forbes has again selected HCPS as a “Best-in-State” employer.
Positions available include custodial and maintenance staff, substitute bus drivers, school nutrition staff, instructional assistants, substitute teachers, and classroom teachers.
