Henrico County Public Library (HCPL) is seeking community feedback as it plans its programming for the upcoming year. The library has invited residents to participate in the HCPL Programming Survey, which will be open until February 2.

“In addition to our collection and online resources, HCPL offers a variety of programs and computer classes for all ages. As we set goals and plan for the months ahead, we want to hear from you. Take our HCPL Programming Survey between now and February 2, and let us know what kinds of programs you’d like to see at your library,” an announcement from the library stated.

Participants who complete the survey can choose to enter a drawing for a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card. The library noted that survey responses will remain anonymous. “We appreciate you taking the time to help us serve you better,” according to the statement.

HCPL operates nine branches throughout Henrico County, Virginia, offering services such as free internet access, public computers, homework help, tax assistance, job search support, and reservable meeting spaces. The library also provides mobile services to retirement facilities and day care centers. More information about these offerings can be found on the official website.

The library works to encourage reading, lifelong learning, and community engagement by connecting people with essential resources and supporting local needs (source). Several of its facilities are recognized under sustainability programs such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (source).

Residents interested in providing input on future programming or learning more about available services can visit any branch or consult the library’s website.
