Henrico County Government announced on September 9, 2025, that the Board of Supervisors approved several property-related actions following public hearings.

In a post made at 10:36 p.m. UTC, Henrico County Government stated, “Following a public hearing, the Board has approved a resolution for a quitclaim deed, releasing county interest in portions of a utility easement at the Brook Villas apartments.”

At 10:37 p.m. UTC, another update read, “Following a public hearing, the Board has approved an ordinance vacating a drainage and utility easement at 11801 Barrington Hill Court. The property owners requested the action to make improvements to their home.”

A third post followed at 10:38 p.m. UTC: “Following a public hearing, the Board has approved an ordinance vacating a building line at 8100 University Drive. The property owners requested the action to make improvements to their home.”

Henrico County is served by Henrico County Public Schools District, which enrolled over 50,000 students during the 2023-24 school year according to state education data (source). Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment among all schools in the county that year (source). Black students comprised the largest ethnic group in Henrico County schools during this period (source), and overall student enrollment increased slightly compared to the previous year (source). Holladay Elementary School led pre-kindergarten enrollment among county schools (source).
