Henrico County Government has announced a recruitment event for individuals interested in becoming benefits program specialists with the county’s Department of Social Services. The event is scheduled to take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, at the Henrico Training Center, located at 7701 E. Parham Road.
In a post dated September 16, 2025, Henrico County Government stated, “The Henrico County Department of Social Services is hosting a recruitment event for people interested in becoming benefits program specialists. The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. tomorrow Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the Henrico Training Center, 7701 E. Parham Road.”
A follow-up message on the same day provided additional details about the purpose and accessibility of the event: “The recruitment event aims to connect job seekers with positions that help residents access benefits including food assistance, medical coverage and financial assistance, while also offering support in navigating county services. The event is free and open to the public.”
Attendees are encouraged to come prepared for potential interviews and to learn more about employment opportunities within Social Services.
