In a post made on September 23, the county stated, “The Sept. 23 meeting of the #Henrico Board of Supervisors will start at 6 p.m. There are two ways to watch online: see the livestream at https://t.co/fJzlnqiKHv or join the Webex version at https://t.co/E7ShnbXQi2.” The announcement provided both a livestream and a Webex option for viewers.
A follow-up message posted on the same day explained how residents could engage in public proceedings remotely. According to the tweet, “You can participate remotely if you’re watching on Webex. To join a public hearing or the public comment portion of the regular meeting, please see this guidance: https://t.co/E7ShnbXQi2.”
Later that evening, Henrico County Government reported on actions taken during the board meeting. In a post timestamped September 23, they wrote, “The Board has approved a proclamation recognizing Oct. 6-12 as Active Aging Week, celebrating the decades of contributions of older residents to the Henrico community. The county plans a series of activities, including the Annual Active Aging Walk & Fitness Forum Oct. 10.”
Henrico County is home to one school district—Henrico County Public Schools—which enrolled more than 50,000 students during the 2023-24 academic year (source).
