Henrico County Government has announced several upcoming opportunities for community engagement and participation, according to recent posts on its official Twitter account.
On October 8, 2025, the county invited residents and others to provide feedback through a survey. In the post, Henrico County Government stated, “Residents & others are invited to participate in a brief survey to help Henrico enhance how it connects with & supports its communities. The Community Engagement & Contribution Survey is open through Dec. 31 at https://t.co/An0dF3HX4j. Info: https://t.co/k1weTJIZII https://t.co/N2S1UNwjrW”.
The following day, on October 9, 2025, the county announced upcoming meetings of the Board of Supervisors. The post read, “The Henrico County Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 3:45 p.m. and a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Henrico County Government Center, 4301 E. Later that same day, another post invited job seekers to an event hosted by the Department of Social Services: “The Henrico County Department of Social Services invites you to a job fair! Join us Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at Libbie Mill Library, 2100 Libbie Lake E Street. https://t.co/KuJXF0GeVc”.
Henrico County is home to a large public school district that enrolled more than 50,000 students during the 2023-24 academic year, with Deep Run High School having the highest enrollment among the county’s schools (source). Black students represented the largest ethnic group in county schools for that year, making up nearly 36% of enrollment (source). The overall student population grew slightly compared to the previous year (source). Holladay Elementary School had the most pre-kindergarten students in the district during this period (source).
These efforts by Henrico County Government reflect ongoing initiatives to engage residents and address community needs through surveys, public meetings, and employment opportunities.
