Henrico County Government has announced updates on voting resources and renewable energy initiatives through its official Twitter account.
On April 17, 2026, Henrico County Government provided information for residents regarding the upcoming special election. The tweet stated, “For more information about voting in the special election, check Henrico’s Voter Registration & Elections Office: https://t.co/JeeCUENPQ5”.
The following day, on April 18, 2026, the county highlighted a new development concerning a closed landfill. According to their post, “Henrico has found a new purpose for a landfill that has been closed for more than a decade. Learn more about the county’s solar energy projects: https://t.co/iOBCHBbvh8 https://t.co/9XYxvzj7xi”.
In another tweet posted minutes later on April 18, Henrico County Government detailed a partnership with Dominion Energy Solutions: “Henrico County has partnered with Dominion Energy Solutions to bring renewable energy to the Springfield Road Landfill, which was capped after closing in 2014. The project, which will power a nearby sewage pump station, is among the first of its kind in Virginia.”
