Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced a new round of appointments to his administration and various state boards. The appointments span several sectors, including health and human resources, agriculture and forestry, education, labor, and public safety.
In the area of health and human resources, new members have been named to both the State Child Fatality Review Team and the Board of Directors of the Virginia Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Program. For agriculture and forestry, appointments were made to the Peanut Board.
The education sector saw appointments to the Board of Visitors of the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind. In labor, new individuals were added to the Auctioneers Board.
For public safety and homeland security, Governor Youngkin appointed members to both the Criminal Justice Services Board and the Secure and Resilient Commonwealth Panel.
These appointments are part of ongoing efforts by Governor Youngkin’s administration to fill key positions across various departments in Virginia’s government.
