Congratulations! The Henrico County Department of Human Resources, Henrico County Public Library and Henrico County Public Schools won a combined four Achievement Awards from the Virginia Association of Counties for innovative programs in 2022.

The winning initiatives promoted a supportive, inclusive work environment; developed family-friendly computer workstations for the new Fairfield Area Library; created an after-school program to identify gifted students who have been historically underrepresented; and used community partnerships to prevent drownings by teaching water safety skills to all second graders.
