PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Aaron Estrada | Hofstra
Estrada’s weekend included a 40-point outburst and the toppling of a nationally ranked opponent. The Pride guard poured in 40 points in Thursday’s comeback win at Elon and tallied 25 points, seven rebounds, and six assists to earn Hofstra a win at No. 18 Charleston on Saturday. Estrada averaged 32.5 points on 53% shooting and 54% from three, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals as Hofstra improved to 8-2 in CAA play and won at a ranked opponent for the second-straight season. Estrada is one of two players to earn Player of the Week honors three times this season and earns his eighth weekly honor in two seasons at Hofstra.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jack Collins | Monmouth
Collins’ Saturday performance helped power Monmouth to its first CAA win in its inaugural campaign in the league. The guard from Monmouth County scored eight points and tallied seven rebounds Thursday in a narrow setback at UNCW before knocking down four three-pointers as part of a 16-point night in Saturday’s win over North Carolina A&T. For the weekend, Collins averaged 12.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals. Collins is Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.
