CAA Men’s Basketball Weekly Awards 

 Towson graduate student Nicolas Timberlake and Drexel freshman Justin Moore are the CAA weekly award winners in men’s basketball.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nicolas Timberlake, Towson
Graduate Student | Guard | Braintree, Mass. / Kimball Union
Timberlake led the way for Towson in a 3-0 week to earn his league-leading third Player of the Week honor this season. The guard from outside Boston averaged 19.3 points on 49% shooting and 11-of-22 (50%) from three while adding four rebounds in the Tigers’ victories over Hofstra, North Carolina A&T, and Elon. Timberlake scored at least 17 points in all three contests with a high of 24 on the week to help the Tigers hold off an Elon comeback on Saturday.
 
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Justin Moore, Drexel
Freshman | Guard | Philadelphia, Pa. / Archbishop Wood
Moore’s efforts powered Drexel to a 2-0 week that earned the Dragons their best eight-game start (6-2) in CAA play in 11 seasons. The guard from Philadelphia scored 14 points and dished out seven assists in Thursday’s victory over Hampton before pouring in 21 points and grabbing five rebounds in Saturday’s overtime win over Delaware at a sold-out DAC. For the week, Moore averaged 17.5 points on 46% shooting and added 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
